working…

blogPostHeader_octobit

Hello, in this post I’ll go over some of the stuff that I’ve been doing lately:

•  You may have already noticed I updated the website with the addition of an “Art” page in which I’ll post anything art related like concept art, fan art or whatever. Check them out and leaving comments/critiques are welcome. I’m still working on the “Games” page but hopefully VERY soon it’ll be finished. Also probably during the week I might post some screenshots of the protototypes I’ve been working on.

•  Winnitron PR is still going. A friend just recently donated a nice monitor for it and right now I’m working on the paint. So, yeah… progress is kinda slow but its still alive so, no worries.

•  I met (not personally, yet) other Awesome! Puertorican fellow Indies, it’s so good to see more people starting to make games here in PR!! If you want to check them out I’ll post links to their websites below:

•  Also, I’ve been very busy playing the fuck out of FEZ coming up with new game ideas and stuff ._.

Winnitron PR!!!

Winnitron PR

So we officially started to build a Winnitron!! AWW YEEAH! we also have a proposal to see if we can put it in Atlantic University College :D . ok now, for those of you who are living in caves and don’t know what a winnitron is, well… The Winnitron is a free-to-play independent video game arcade cabinet and the project was originally created by a group of 6 talented individuals called “Bit Collective” in Winnipeg, Canada. If you want to read more about the Indie Game Arcade Network / Winnitron you can go here, and here to know more about “Bit Collective”. Below I posted some AWESOME pictures of our soon to be Winnitron PR, I hope you like them. ;)

HELLO!! This past week has been good to us, we got our AWESOME Octobit pins done, got some $$$ to (hopefully) start building a Winnitron and even started a small game (small screenshot above) during the weekend!! I’ll post link to download the game as soon as I’m done with it, also probably on the next blog post we’ll be saying for sure if we’re building Winnitron PR and if we are we’ll make another blog/site/page to document the whole building process and post any other related information.

Hey!! sorry I haven’t updated, I’ve been very busy with some college stuff that I need to take care of. I have not worked on any games because of what I mentioned before but soon I’ll start updating more frequently. the good news is that we’ve been talking with some friends about building a Winnitron here in Puerto Rico, we’re still looking for prices and working on a proposal to see if we can get funds or at least a good place for it. We’ll see what happens. Oh! and I made some simple designs for a possible Octobit Game Studio t-shirt   :D AWW YEAH!
